Who are we?

Lambda Phi Epsilon is the FIRST and ONLY internationally recognized Asian-Interest Fraternity in the country. With 60 chapters across the nation and Canada and more than 10,500 brothers strong. Lambda Phi Epsilon has, since its inception, remained the largest Asian-American interest fraternity in the United States. Lambda Phi Epsilon seeks to establish and strengthen bridges between both Greek and Asian American cultural life.

On December 7th, 2002, 11 dedicated men from the University of Massachusetts Amherst established the Alpha Upsilon chapter here at UMass. Without these men none of us would be in this fraternity here today. We're eternally grateful for what they did and will forever uphold the values, dedication, and purpose that they instilled into the fraternity.

Lambda Phi Epsilon prides itself on academic excellence in all regards. Brothers from chapters around the nation are some of the most outstanding students on their respective campuses, and many alumni hold careers in medicine, law, business, and politics, among many other professions. As a wide group of individuals with diverse interests, the brothers of Lambda Phi Epsilon branch out widely but tend to excel in whatever path they choose.

Community Service

Lambda Phi Epsilon holds a strong belief in giving back to the community. With a shared commitment to making a positive difference, the brothers participate in various community service initiatives. By dedicating their time and efforts to uplift their community, we not only create meaningful connections but also contribute to the betterment of society.

Lambda Phi Epsilons national philanthropy is Be the Match National Marrow Donor Program. Through various events and initiatives, we raise awareness about the critical need for bone marrow donors, encouraging our brothers and the community to register and potentially become a life-saving match. We also hold many different types of philanthropy events throughout the year, keep updated by following our instagram page!
